A wide and fast mount prime lens by Nikon F 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM is a member of the dignified lens lineup of Sigma’s Global Vision Series and is featured by its advanced robust physical design and optical construction. The combination of three “F” Low Dispersion elements and four Special Low Dispersion elements help to attain a distinct minimization in chromatic aberrations, while the duo of aspherical elements, with one positioned in the rear of the lens, decrease a variety of supplementary distortions and aberrations. The 15-element-in-11-group optical design is composed to convey continuous peripheral brightness and sharpness, even while working at the bright f/1.4 maximum aperture. A Super Multi Coating has been applied to lens elements to protect it from flare and ghosting for higher contrast and color fidelity.

Accompany the optical performance is an equally adept Hyper Sonic Motor, which gives fast, smooth, and near-silent autofocus performance. This focusing motor can also empower full manual focus override at any time just by rotating the focus ring for clear manual control. Nine rounded diaphragm blades contribute to give out-of-focus quality when working with shallow depth of field techniques, and the lens can also work equally with the optional Sigma USB Dock for fine-tuned control over focusing parameters.
