Traverse wide to tell, the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II is an ideal all-purpose lens featured by modern optical design, small in profile, and image stabilization. Three aspherical elements and two extra-low dispersion elements are used to power both spherical and chromatic aberrations, in order to achieve high sharpness and clarity, and a Super Integrated Coating works to reduce flare for high contrast and color accuracy. Supporting the optics is VR II image stabilization, which helps for up to 3.5 stops of camera shake to help realize sharp images when shooting handheld. A Silent Wave Motor is also used to provide fast and accurate autofocus performance, along with a full-time manual focus override.

• The rounded seven-blade diaphragm produces a pleasing out-of-focus quality that help the use of shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques.
