Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Lens

The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Lens is a fully water-resistant, high-performance, ultra-wide-angle L-series zoom lens. An f/2.8 maximum aperture is built for low light situations and offers shallow depth of field focus control. The improved optical design offers better edge-to-edge image quality. In addition to this, it features 3 high-precision aspherical lens elements, each of a different type: ground, replica, and GMO. Its inbuilt ultrasonic motor and improved AF algorithms will help the lens to focus faster and quieter on the subject. Precise manual focus is assisting in One-Shot AF mode and a truly round aperture helping in pleasing background blur.

All of the “L” type lenses deliver optical performance equal to similar fixed focal lengths lenses and are made of tight seal structures for resisting the lens from dust and water. Distortions and aberrations are exceptionally small for a lens of such amazing capabilities. A featured petal-style lens hood resists unwanted light from entering the lens and causing flare and it offers a degree of protection against impact and the elements.
